The De Luxe Blues Band - Deluxe Blues Band (1988)

This post is very much an "oops we missed one" kind of post. Why? Because I have another De Luxe Blues Band album to offer you that I barely knew existed!

I received an email yesterday from my friend and regular contributor John informing me he had located a copy of the 1988 De Luxe Blues Band album, titled Deluxe Blues Band. He has forwarded these tracks to me so that I can add them onto to blog to share with you.

This album is obviously quite rare, although there are mentions of it around the net on various sites.

I mentioned to my wife today that John has contributed so much to this blog that I really need to consider him to be a co-author rather than a contributor. His help in compiling this blog and providing discography information has been invaluable.

I've only listened to this album a couple of times, so I'll hold off on giving you any comments. However, those of you who love DLBB, can download it here and make up your own mind. John said to me in an email "these sound the same as most of their other studio recordings". Not, as I'm sure you are aware, is this necessarily a bad thing as DLBB albums are almost always enjoyable
