These .rar files can be unzipped by using WINRAR or a similar program. WINRAR can be downloaded from various sites around the net. If you are unable to get WINRAR to work on your computer and you are desperate to download a particular album then let me know. I will try to create a .zip file for you if I have the time (and if you ask nicely!).

John Mayall - Notice to Appear

While I was on the topic of Rick Vito I thought I would add this album onto the blog, which see's Rick playing guitar on seven tracks. For details of which tracks, please follow the "further info" link at the bottom of this page.

I noticed that you could buy a new copy of album on Amazon for around $50. Well, as it an awful John Mayall album, it certainly isn't worth that much money so I have added it here for anyone who wants it.

John Mayall has released some very good albums in his 50 years of producing music, but he has also released some shockers. This is probably better than some, but I'm struggling to name one and I have about 50 albums by John Mayall (48 hours to be exact - thats a lot of John Mayall).

Oh, I do like "Hale To The Man Who Lives Alone", so one track out of ten isn't all that bad...

Anyone wanting this album for a blistering Rick Vito solo will also be disappointed because you have to struggle to hear the guitar over the rest of the noise going on (horn section, backing vocals, keyboards and so on).

However, if you like Mayall and don't have this album then you can listen to it before you head off to spend your hard earned $50.

Oh and if anyone has Mayall's "UK Tour 2K" or "Time Capsule" then please send me a copy because I am still searching... [EDIT: Actually no I'm not because someone called Amy came to the blog, saw this request and sent me a copy. I have posted it up on this blog for everyone, regardless of it being irrelevant to Fleetwood Mac.]
