John Mayall - No More Interviews

EDIT: If anyone has either Mayall's 'Time Capsule' or 'UK Tour 2K', then I'd appreciate a copy and so would a few visitors to this blog!

This has to be the hardest John Mayall album to find, it has never, to my knowledge, made it onto a CD. There was a blog site on the net offering this album but the link was broken. Forgive me my little rant for the moment, but I understand if people don't have time to work on a blog, and I know rapidshare deletes inactive links after 90 days, but if people request an upload either do it or delete the blog.

Anyway, having given up on this, I went to my friend John who has given me a few albums for this blog, and he kindly sent it to me.

Now, my reason for collecting this album is not actually Fleetwood Mac related. I do like John Mayall and I have pretty much all of his albums. I didn't even know that Rick Vito appeared on this album until John told me. So thankfully because Rick did appear on the album John actually had it in his collection and forwarded it on to me.

So, here it is. John Mayall sounding alternatively like John Mayall, Bob Seger, Elton John and who knows what else. Terrible album in parts, and easy to see why it never made a CD release. However, in other parts, it is typical Mayall fare, and enjoyable on most tracks all the same.

We don't actually know which songs Rick Vito is on, but he is on there somewhere. Good luck finding him!

Amazing! I have been searching for this one for a while. You seem to find the best of the obscure...THANKS! Any chance you have Mayall's Time Capsule or UK Tour 2K?

No sorry I don't have them. These two are hard to find as you have probably worked out! As you would know they were released only through his website, and don't seem to be available elsewhere. If anyone has them, then a copy would be welcome!

Don´t be offended - this isn´t amazing at all. Someone has blown up a bad 64kbs rip up to 320kbs - for what reason? It doesn´t get better that way.

Actually given I know the person who ripped it, it was ripped from the vinyl LP at the given bitrate.

The amazing part though is for those of us who haven't heard this album previously because it has never made it to CD release.

Feel free to provide a better quality version if you have it... :-)
