Earlier today while posting to this blog I realised that I didn't actually have Peter Green's White Sky in my collection. For someone who prides himself on having a big collection of CDs by the Fleetwood Mac members, I had shocked myself that this one was missing.
However, I headed off to rapidshare to look for a link to a copy of the album, so that I could have a listen to it, and also share it on the blog. I don't know how easy this album is to come by, but I figured that if I didn't have it in my collection it obviously wasn't readily available. I'm prepared to be wrong though.
This album was released in 1982, and as was common by the that stage, all of the songs were written by Peter's brother Mike Green. Interestingly enough I always thought (as a side thought) Peter's real name was Peter Greenbaum. So I wonder if his brother changed his name to Green because of his famous brother? Just a thought!
Anyway, not a bad album if you like that kind of thing which I do. It certainly isn't Peter at his best, but I still love to listen to him anyway.
