Oh for such a short time we had Peter back with us before he vanished again. Nigel Watson (the other main player in the Splinter Group) was a friend of Peter's who had got him playing guitar again. Soon they were selling great albums, doing fantastic gigs, and probably making heaps of money.
It didn't last though. Restraining orders were taken out against Nigel by Peter's family, the UK government was managing Peter's money, and the Splinter Group was no more. I am sure that Nigel was using Peter's name to further his own musical ambitions which is why it wasn't called The Nigel Watson Splinter Group.
Sadly when Nigel and Peter parted ways, Peter dropped back into obscurity, and we may never again hear him sing or play.
I do love the Splinter Group albums and this one is probably the worst of the lot. However, it is also the one that is the hardest to find. It was sold only through the band's website and at gigs, making it a hard one to track down.
