Seven months after the release of Paris' self-titled album they released Big Towne 2061. The Led Zepplin influence was still there, but somehow this album just didn't seem quite as good as its predecessor. Perhaps it depends on your point of view?
Regardless of which, Paris soon broke up and Bob Welch went solo, releasing French Kiss in 1977. After that, for a couple of years at least, Bob Welch had achieved fame. I think he even opened shows for Fleetwood Mac to promote French Kiss.
This album, from 1976, is before all of that. To my mind the stand out tracks are Blue Robin and Heart of Stone, but you may have your own favourites.

i bought this in the 70's and liked it a lot instantly-he has a knack for creating mood pieces-in fact 50% of his output aren't songs at all-they're hmm...something else-finally heard this band's 1st recently [hadn't missed anything].
